Winter Has Come (From Pen Y Fan to Snow Day)
Winter has finally arrived in the Rhondda Valleys and I am making the most of it! So far, December has been a very active month and I have yet to even attempt the "hussle & bussle" of the daunting Christmas shop! Last Monday, I took the decision to treat myself to a days annual leave from the office and embrace the outdoors. I decided to embark on the ever so popular "Pen Y Fan". If you have never visited Pen Y Fan and experienced the Brecon Beacons, I suggest you do so! It's a breathtaking place with magnificent views! Also to top it off, at the bottom of the mountain after a challenging climb, you can always treat yourself to a burger from the famous Storey Arms burger van!☺ For more info on the Brecon Beacons or Pen Y Fan, there is an interesting TV programme currently on ITV every Friday at 8pm, "The Beacons Uncovered". It's worth a watch!
